Today’s card is made with inspiration from Catch The Bug’s Stella Says Sketch Challenge #415:
And the color challenge at Sunday Stamps #137, to use at least three of the colors in the picture. My card is closer to these colors, it looks more yellow in the photos.
The stamps I have used are from a clear stamp set from Slöjd-Detaljer (the sentiment that means “1 year older and wiser”), and from Inkadinkado’s clear stamp set “Steamp Punk”.
I also submit my card to the following challenges:
A birthday card in earth tones, with brand new (got it in the mail today) stamp from Verve Stamps. I’ve got the feeling this clear stamps set is gonna be a favorite of mine!
I submit the card to the following challenges:
It’s also my card for this week’s sketch at Kortskissen:
Good morning! Today I have a vintage looking time themed card to share with you. The sentiment on the card is Swedish for “Time and life won’t be repeated”. I used my absolute fave paper, from Stamperia’s paper pad ‘Steampunk‘. It’s without doubt THE most beautiful papers I have ever worked with. Sentiment stamp is from Slöjd-Detaljer.
Yes! I made a card last night. My first card since February. It’s my contribution for this week’s sketch challenge at Kortskissen. We’d love to see your take on the sketch, so pay us a visit and then sit down in your crafty space. 😀
I’m baaack! I didn’t have any internet connection on my pc for a while. But now both internet and I are back. The first card for today is a Christmas card based on Mojo Monday sketch #419.
Ooooh, how I love the Steampunk Fantasy papers by Stamperia!! I think it might just be the most beautiful papers I have ever seen! With bits and pieces from various of these papers, no decorations were needed. The paper says it all. The stamped sentiment says “We always have enough time, if we just use it right”, and is my design for Slöjd-Detaljer. Card is made for Butterfly Challenge #37 – Butterflies and Archway.
Sometimes it just doesn’t turn out the way you imagined it would. This card is an example of that. However, I’m posting it anyway. It’s made for two challenges – Allsorts challenge #326 and Can You Case It #84. At Allsorts, the challenge was to recycle/upcycle. I’ve recycled old sheet music and a book page. And at Can You Case It, this week’s challenge was this sketch:
I needed to make a birthday card for my uncle. I sometimes find it hard to make a masculine card, but vintage paper in brown shades does the trick. I used sketch #374 at Sketch Saturday for inspiration. All supplies except screw brads can be purchased at Slöjd-Detaljer.
Last week in my filofax personal:
Background paper, weekday boxes and dates – Tim Holtz Lost & Found
Washi tape – Stamperia + unknown
“Label maker” stickers – Kaisercraft Pickled Pear Sticker Sheet
Icons and words rubber stamps – Pysseldags
Be surprised! Tonight I made a card that is NOT clean & simple. I’m not quite sure about when that last happened. I tried to give the card kind of a vintage look with the choice of designer paper and with the distressed edges.
I made the card for retrosketches challenge #117:
Card base – Slöjd-Detaljer
Designer paper – Prima Cartographer
Buttons – Stamperia
Bakers twine – We R Memory Keepers
Sentiment clear stamp – Slöjd-Detaljer
Edge scraper – Reprint
Inked edges – Distress Ink Black Soot
Ink for stamped sentiment – VersaFine Onyx Black
