You are so cool

A card for a cool teenager, maybe? Challenge #261 at The Paper Players was to make a note to stuck inte a child’s lunchbox. Or your honey’s lunchbox if you don’t have children. I have neither a honey nor children, but made what I think would suit a not so young kid. I used Sketch Saturday’s sketch #377 for the layout of my card. The cool graffiti paper is from K-Designs.

Live in the sunshine

This card is made for two different challenges, and it was a real challenge to make it! I don’t use flowers on my cards – one of the challenges was to use roses. I preferable don’t do round shapes – the other challenge featured a circle on the sketch. Phew! But I made it! Although it’s not really a real circle. But I believe that the pattern on the paper counts as a round shape, don’t you think? 😀

Allsorts challenge #325 is to use roses, and Sketch Saturday #375 is the sketch I used.

A masculine birthday card

I needed to make a birthday card for my uncle. I sometimes find it hard to make a masculine card, but vintage paper in brown shades does the trick. I used sketch #374 at Sketch Saturday for inspiration. All supplies except screw brads can be purchased at Slöjd-Detaljer.

This doesn’t really rock…

I had a real difficult time making a card for Sketch Saturday’s sketch #372. There’s a circle! I don’t do round shapes. Seriously, I don’t. So I ended up with a card that I don’t really like. At all. But it will have to do. I’ve learnt that sometimes other people like things that you don’t like yourself. 😉

My mom asked me to make a card she could give to her cousin on her 60th birthday. This is what I came up with, inspired by a sketch at Sketch Saturday and the current challenge at Color Throwdown.

Card base – Papercraft Scandinavia
Light turquoise card stock – World Win Papers
Green designer paper – My Mind’s Eye Quite Contrary collection
Lime green designer paper – My Mind’s Eye Qutie Contrary collection
Red designer paper – Bo Bunny Paprika Double Dot
Butterflies – cut out from DCWV Mariposa collection
White dotted organza ribbon – Reprint
Glitter brads – unknown
60 – Thickers Shoe Box

A brown CAS wedding

The clean & simple continues. It seems like I hardly ever make any well decorated cards anymore. I guess clean & simple is my style. So, to match three different challenges, here’s a clean & simple wedding card.

At The Paper Players current challenge the theme is Wedded Bliss, and at clean&simple stamping the theme is Wedding. I combined these two with a sketch from Sketch Saturday, where the challenge is to use a past sketch. This is the sketch I chose:

Card base – Papercraft Scandinavia
White cardstock (for matting) – Slöjd-Detaljer
Vintage image – unknown, possibly Papercraft Scandinavia
Sentiment rubber stamp – unknown
Embossing ink pad – VersaMark
White embossing powder – Heindesigns
Chipboard heart – Reprint
White ink pad for coloring the heart – Memories
Pearls – Perlen Pen

Time to celebrate

“Time to celebrate” is what the Swedish sentiment on this card means in English. I got the inspiration for this card from Sketch Saturday’s sketch #296.

Dags att fira clear stamp – Slöjd-Detaljer
Designer paper – Prima Marketing, Anna Marie collection
Rhinestones – Kaisercraft
