This week’s sketch at Kortskissen is now online. We’d love to see how you interpret the sketch. 😀 Here’s my take on it. Sentiment means “On your day”, and is my design for Skapa Hobby (no longer available).
Now there’s a new challenge at Jul Hela Året (Christmas All Year) – to make a Christmas card in untraditional colors. I chose orange for my card.

Heart – freehand drawn and cut out, inked with Fired Brick and Walnut Stain Distress Ink pads
God Jul clear stamp – Skapa Hobby (no longer available)
When checking some unedited images on my pc, I found this pic. It’s a bunch of notebooks I made for work, back in July. They are very plain, all the front covers are made from one piece of 12″x12″ designer paper (BoBunny, I think?!). Glued onto cardstock and chipboard for more sturdiness.
Yesterday I made a few cards with the Forever Friends teddy bear. I might think the bear is cute, but making cute cards is SO NOT ME. I really had to struggle with them. But, I still wanted to make a few for work, as example of what you can make of the various Forever Friends Black & Gold stuff we sell.
First are two cards with the 3D decoupage technique (I think it’s called papertole in the U.S.?).
And the last one is a card I made for Kortskissen’s sketch #143. And let me say it again – CUTE CARDS ARE NOT MY STYLE. 😉
At work (in case you didn’t know it, I work in a scrap & stamp store) we have a challenge in our blog this month. To create something inspired by this picture:
Here’s my card (of course I don’t participate in the challenge, my card serves as an example of how you can interpret the picture):
