Dog Lover Birthday

I’ve had this dog paper (I have a cat one as well) for¬†years without using it. As there are a couple of blog challenges with the theme animals right now (see links at the bottom of this post), it’s perfect to use for a dog lover birthday greeting.

I have used MFT Sketch #333 for the layout of my card, and Paper Play Sketches color challenge for the colors:

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

Black, White and Red

Today’s therapy: Making a card. ūüôā The patterned background paper is an old paper called Paintables by Prima Marketing. Yes, old it is. Since way before coloring for adults became popular. It actually says 2007 on the paper! I’ve colored it with Staedtler Triplus pens. The sentiment is from one of my fave clear stamp sets, Wishing You by Verve Stamps. I love how you can mix and match the “Wishing you” with various texts.

I used MFT sketch #325 for the design:

Vintage style birthday card

Today’s card is a Happy Birthday card in a vintage kind of style. I submit it to the following challenges:

Flowery birthday wishes

This must be the quickest card I have made in a very long time. Usually I spend a lot o time thinking about how I should make the card, which supplies to use, etc. But as soon as I saw the images from Muse and The Card Concept, I knew what I wanted to do. The sentiment stamp I used is from a clear stamps set from Verve Stamps, and the flowers are from an old set from Making Memories.

Muse Challenge #187 is this card by Tracey McNeely:

And this is how I interpreted it:

From this ice cream at The Card Concept #59, I picked up the colors for my flowers, and I chose the concept Clean & Simple:
