I thought the romantic style wasn’t my style, but I guess this card has quite a romantic style. Made with papers from 13arts Blue Magnolia. Grattis is from an old clear stamp set I designed for Skapa Hobby, no longer available.
As always, we’d love to see your take on the sketch. 🙂
Here’s my card for last week’s sketch at Kortskissen. Which you can still make a card for, we don’t have any deadlines. 🙂
Four months. It’s almost four months since I last blogged. I guess things just have been too much, and I have basically only updated my (personal) Instagram. I’ll try and see if I’m ready to start blogging on a regular basis again.
First out is my card for this week’s sketch at Kortskissen. As always we would love you to participate and show us your take on the sketch. You simply just post a link to your card as a comment to the blog post. Kortskissen’s blog post that is, not mine here! 🙂
Here’s my card for sketch #475 at Kortskissen.
New week, new sketch at Kortskissen. 😀 I made a birthday card for a cat lover (no, no person in particular).
Ages ago I made a whole bunch of cards in brown and black, mainly using the gorgeous Steampunk paper pad from Italian brand Stamperia (my absolute fave brand of papers!). Anyway, I made two posts showing my cards. Here’s the third and final part.
At first, I found our sketch #428 at Kortskissen quite challenging. But when I found a piece of chevron patterned paper in my stash, I immediately knew the layout of my card. I also happened to find some old rhinestone frames from Prima Marketing that I had completely forgot about, and one of them was the perfect size for the paper doily. Stamps is from Verve Stamps.
Our current challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is “Something beginning with the letter D”. I couldn’t figure out having any suitable decorations or stamps for Dogs, Dinosaurs… whatever… Just now, I realize I could’ve made a Christmas card with a Deer. Oh well. I went for Date as my D word.
Our current challenge #176 at Cardz 4 Guyz is Fancy Folds. Anyone familiar with my cards, knows that I don’t do folds. I always make the good ol’ double folded cards. So, this was quite a bit of a challenge for me. And the fold I came up with might not be that fancy really. But that’s as fancy as I get, LOL.
The stamp on the front of the card is from Verve Stamps, and the one inside the card is from Simon Says Stamp. Both are from sets where you can combine different words/parts with each other, which I love.
