I’m squeezing in a Thank You card inbetween the Halloween cards. For this card I’ve used Graphic 45 papers and a butterfly stamp which I designed for Reprint Artstamps years ago. I’m not sure where the Thank You stamp is from, but it might be Verve Stamps.
Yup, I’m having a productive day, this is my third card for today. And it’s horrible! No, not the card itself. But the fact there are spiders on it! I can’t believe I did that. I HATE spiders!! Even these little handdrawn monsters are creepy to me…
The Halloween stamp is from Vilda Stamps, and the ghosts are a stamp I designed for Reprint Artstamps ages ago.
I submit this card to a whole lot of challenges:
Here’s the reason why I’ve used those creepy creatures on my card – I got insired by the bottom right picture in this collage from Stampin’ Royalty challenge #349:
And this sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #195 was perfect for my card:
With only a couple of weeks until Halloween, and several card challenge blogs having Halloween related challenges, there is plenty of inspiration for making Halloween cards.
This card, with a vintage Halloween image from Slöjd-Detaljer, is my interpretion of Freshly Made Sketches sketch #258:
I was also inspired by this image from Tuesday Throwdown #315:
I also submit this card to the following challenges:
This must be the quickest card I have made in a very long time. Usually I spend a lot o time thinking about how I should make the card, which supplies to use, etc. But as soon as I saw the images from Muse and The Card Concept, I knew what I wanted to do. The sentiment stamp I used is from a clear stamps set from Verve Stamps, and the flowers are from an old set from Making Memories.
And this is how I interpreted it:
From this ice cream at The Card Concept #59, I picked up the colors for my flowers, and I chose the concept Clean & Simple:

Yesterday’s second Christmas was made for sketch #379 at Kortskissen. It’s interesting to see how all of us in the design team have interpreted the sketch in different ways. 😀 We’d love to see YOUR take on the sketch, too!
Besides Kortskissen, I also submit this card to the following challenges:
I thought I’d make today a cardmaking day. We’ll see how far I get with that. I’ve at least made one card this far. I used Merry Monday’s challenge #217 – Retro/Vintage and Mojo Monday’s sketch #469 as inspiration.
Today’s card is made with inspiration from Catch The Bug’s Stella Says Sketch Challenge #415:
And the color challenge at Sunday Stamps #137, to use at least three of the colors in the picture. My card is closer to these colors, it looks more yellow in the photos.
The stamps I have used are from a clear stamp set from Slöjd-Detaljer (the sentiment that means “1 year older and wiser”), and from Inkadinkado’s clear stamp set “Steamp Punk”.
I also submit my card to the following challenges:
First card this week is a Christmas card (chances I’ll make more Christmas cards during the week are big). The baubles (and the ‘God Jul’) are peel off stickers (or outline stickers as I think they are called in the US) that I adhered to a very shiny green paper. Middle bauble is mounted with 3D foam squares for a bit of depth, and for extra bling I have put golden rhinestones on the baubles.
I found it soooo difficult to take photos of this card because of the shinyness (that’s not a word, is it?). Anyway. The card is made for the following challenges:
New week, new sketch at Kortskissen. Here’s my card for it. All those squares in the sketch were perfect for me, as I’m an “think inside the box” cardmaker.
I used four different designer papers, Happy Birthday stamp from K-Designs, and a feather stamp that I designed for Reprint Artstamps ages ago. Through the years, I have designed stamps for three different companies. And of those stamps I almost only use the text stamps. I don’t really know why, but I don’t like using images that I have drawn. Maybe I should challenge myself to start using them, as there are plenty of them.
This might be my personal record in how many challenges I participate with this card, LOL. But it’s the time of the year when several blogs have fall/autumn themed challenges.
