D is for Denim. And Dimension.

Guess what?! I’ve made a card! Yes, you read that right. Last card I posted here was almost a month ago. I had so much fun making this card, inspired by three different challenges:

Butterfly Challenge #58 – D is for Dimension and/or Denim. I found a cotton fabric with denim print in my stash, which was absolutely perfect for this challenge. Then a bit of dimension by using 3D dots under the Grattis stamp, and glueing just the body of the butterfly, lifting the wings up from the card (by the way, I almost always do that when using butterflies).

Shopping Our Stash challenge #262 is to use stitching. I don’t own a sewing machine, and was too lazy to stitch by hand, so I made faux stitches with Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze pen.

And then I used the sketch at The Paper Players challenge #305.

Wow, your faux stitching had me fooled on this card. I love the addition of the fabric and it goes so well with the shades of brown that you have also used. Thankyou for fluttering by my challenge where your card will be entered into the prizes twice. Hugs Mrs A.
