Not too much time or inspiration for carmaking right now, here’s a few mandalas I colored when I just had started coloring about half a year ago.
This one is from the Swedish book Kreativitet och Mindfulness (the red one – there’s a red and a green book), also colored with the Faber-Castell pens.
Last mandala for now is from Mandala Magic, colored with Color Diamond gel pens.
I haven’t really been in a cardmaking mood today, but I managed to get one Christmas card done. I used sketch #214 from Freshly Made Sketches for the layout. The card is also for Merry Monday #181, blue and white with texture. The texture in my card is the embossed dotted cardstock, the glittery blue paper and the glittery snowflake.
I recently discovered a for me new challenge blog, Fusion Card Challenge. For their challenges, you can make a card inspired by an image, by a sketch, or by both. For this past week’s challenge, I used the sketch only. I thought my card looked kind of plain, but more decorations didn’t feel right either. So I added crystal glaze to the berries, and Stardust Stickles to the snow to make it come alive a bit.
The latest Butterfly Challenge was “Q is for Quadruple“, i.e. use four of something. Plus at least one butterfly. I went for four different designer papers and four snowflake stickers. And three butterflies.
This week’s sketch at Kortskissen is online now. Come join us in the fun! 😀 The sketch is perfect for making clean & simple cards using up your paper scraps.
Here’s a card for two Monday challenges. Merry Monday #180 was to use a reindeer, and I combined that with Mojo Monday’s sketch #424. Text stamp is from Slöjd-Detaljer – I just LOVE our Christmas stamps!
Today’s second Christmas card is a bit different. No nice Santa, no cute reindeer, no shiny tree… Just a bunch of skulls with candy canes. 😉 Searching through my Christmas stash, I found out that this paper was the only thing I had with candy canes. And of course I needed candy canes for the Candy Kisses challenge at Jingle Belles. This card is also for sketch #387 at Sketch Saturday.
