A clean and simple (yeah, I shouldn’t need to mention that anymore, since 9 out of 10 of my cards are clean and simple) card made for two challenges. CASology #160 where the theme is numbers – I used numbers both in the stamped strip and the sentiment. And One Layer Simplicity #19 where the theme is “strip down”. I.e. stamp a strip down the card. Although I flipped it and stamped a horisontal strip instead.
Oh my – that’s what I have to say about challenge #40 at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. “U is for Ugly” – use the ugliest paper in your stash. Oh my. I have these old papers from KMA, that I bought when I started scrapbooking in 2001. I seriously have no idea why I haven’t thrown the papers away a long time ago. I absolutely do not like them. Well, I guess it’s good that I kept them, so I could use them for this challenge. The stamp, which is NOT ugly, is from Slöjd-Detaljer. 🙂
The layout of my card is inspired by Mojo Monday’s sketch #311.
This card is made for three different challenges. At Less is More #237, the theme is congratualtions (which the Swedish word “Gratulerar” means). At CAS on Sunday #65, you should use vellum. I stamped and gold embossed the greeting on a layer of gold and white printed vellum and adhered it to the white background. The third challenge is Retro Sketches #177.
Here’s a card I made a couple of months ago, but never got around to show. A part of a designer paper, two stripes of washi and a few letter stickers, and that’s it. Did I ever mention I love to make clean and simple cards? Oh, you’ve guessed that already. 😉
I needed to make a birthday card for my uncle. I sometimes find it hard to make a masculine card, but vintage paper in brown shades does the trick. I used sketch #374 at Sketch Saturday for inspiration. All supplies except screw brads can be purchased at Slöjd-Detaljer.
A clean and simple get well card, based on sketch #136 at CAS(E) this Sketch. A strip of patterned paper, a stamp and a heart sticker is all that’s needed. 🙂
I relialized I never blogged my card for last week’s Kortskissen. I really liked the sketch, and I actually really like my card, too. 😉 I don’t say that very often. Text means “You’re one in a million”.
I made a card for Mojo Monday sketch #409 a couple of weeks ago, but never got around to post it. Here it is. Paper from Best Creations Inc, “You rock!” stamp from Inkadinkado.
That’s the theme of Time Out Challenge #37 – Friendship is golden. To use friendship and/or golden on your card. I chose both. As always, a clean and simple card, with gold glittery paper, gold glittery washi tape and a friend rubon from KaiserCraft.
This week’s sketch at Kortskissen is now online. We’d love to see how you interpret the sketch. 😀 Here’s my take on it. Sentiment means “On your day”, and is my design for Skapa Hobby (no longer available).
