Christmas Greeting

Our current challenge #138 at Through The Purple Haze is Lace/Ribbon. I used both on my card. We’d love to see how you use lace and/or ribbons on your creations. 😀

For the layout of the card, I have used a sketch from Paper Craft Crew:

Cute Little Snowman

Currently, I’m the worst design team member ever. I upload my cards to the blogs I design for, and then I forget to post about them in my own blog… 🙁 Tomorrow it’s time for a new challenge at l Through The Purple Haze, and not until today I get to post my card for the last challenge! I’ll be better from now on, I promise.

Challenge #137 at Through The Purple Haze was “Mostly white + one optional color”. My optional color was grey. The cute little snowman is a vintage image from Slöjd-Detaljer. Christmas Wishes is a peel off sticker.

Purple Christmas

Our challenge #136 at Through The Purple Haze is untraditional Christmas colors. I went for purple, with a background paper from Paper Adventures from 2003 (!!!) and a vintage Christmas image from Slöjd-Detaljer. Also the God Jul stamp is from Slöjd-Detaljer.

Halloween is getting closer

Today’s new challenge at Through The Purple Haze is Anything Goes. I chose to make a Halloween card with quite a simple layout. I love this craft and black paper with ravens. I have a total spider phobia, but still managed to put a wooden spider on my card.

Romantic

I’m late again, I should’ve blogged this already last week. Oh well… Our challenge #134 at Through The Purple Haze is “Romantic”. Which was quite a bit of a challenge for me, as my usual cardmaking style is about as far from romantic as it possibly can be. I’m quite pleased with the outcome of my romantic card though. I used papers from my fave brand Stamperia, and stamps from one of my fave clear stamps set from Verve Stamps.

Christmas part 2

Our challenge #133 at Through The Purple Haze is “In the Woods”. I don’t have much on that theme, but found this image among my Christmas papers. All papers are from Stamperia.

Sea You Soon

Ooh, I just realized I haven’t blogged my card for Through The Purple Haze challenge #132 – Marine/Sea theme. As I didn’t have any suitable stamp or image, I drew a seahorse on shimmery turquoise paper. The stripes of glitter washi symbolize the sea, and I thought it was a good play with words to write “Sea” instead of “See”. 🙂

A Vintage Card

Our theme for Through The Purple Haze challenge #131 is Vintage. I used my beloved papers from Stamperia on my card. One of the papers had a sentiment print, so no stamping needed. Decorations are lace and Prima Marketing bling swirls.

I also submit my card to Crafting By Designs August Anything Goes Challenge.

It’s The Little Things…

Another late blog post… At Through The Purple Haze, our challenge #130 is Anything Goes. So feel free to create whatever you wish. 😀 There is still four days until deadline, so you still have the chance to participate.

For my card, I used old papers from My Mind’s Eye, glittery washi tape and stamp from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection “Good Thoughts”.

Things With Wings

Our new challenge at Through The Purple Haze is “Things With Wings“. As I love using butterflies on my creations, that’s of course what I chose for this challenge.

I’ve made a one layer card. First I stamped the large butterfly. I also stamped it on a post-it note, cut it out and placed it on the butterfly I had stamped on the card. Then I stamped the butterfly panel three times as background. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this technique, it’s called masking.

I’ve colored the stamped images with three shades of yellow/orange, and then filled in all the black on the large butterfly with black Sakura Glaze gel roller pen to make it pop out a bit.

I used CAS(E) this Sketch #229 for the layout of my card:
