Been playing at the cafe…

The latest challenge at The Play Date Café really was a challenge! An exciting color combo.

Butterfly from Verve Stamps, that is one of my fave stamps which I use quite a lot. Text stamp from Papercraft Scandinavia (formerly Inkido), saying “Congrats Hugs”.

Challenge cards

Yesterday I made cards for several blog challenges. Unfortunately I forgot to post the ones for the challenges that had deadline yesterday, so I’m a bit late with those. Oh well, here we go with all of them:

My take on the color challenge. Sentiment is Happy Birthday in Slovenian (the card is for a Slovenian friend).

The Play Date Cafe challenge

My take on the challenge. The colors look a bit odd in the photo. What looks yellow IS more apricot, and the dark color IS steel blue, not dark grey or something.

Two more!

Okay, I made two more challenge cards, and this time I didn’t miss the deadlines. 😉

First is my very first paticipation in a challenge at CASE Study:

PDCC99

I LOVE the color scheme of the latest Play Date Cafe Challenge! The yellow in my card might be a bit more bold than what the challenge was about, but then I love bold colors…

Yellow paper is Maja Design, purple is the backside of a Fancy Pants paper. Sentiment is from Verve Stamps.

Get Well card

Here’s a card I made for The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC98. I made the card in time for the challenge, but unfortunately I never got to take a pic of it and upload it in time. Here it is – better late then never. 😀

Scraps of various designer papers, a stamped flower, leaves cut out from magic mest, and the Krya på dig (Get well in Swedish) stamp is my design for Skapa Hobby.

More cards with Verve stamps

I love my new Verve stamps. 😀 So I had to use them on both cards I made tonight.

The first card I made just to use the piece I had left of that patterned paper (I don’t remember which brand it is, but we sell them at work). Note: I used flowers! I hardly ever use flowers on my cards.

The second card is for The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC96.

Since mint, ivory and coral are so NOT my colors (okay, maybe ivory), I wanted to challenge myself and participate. I ended up hardly using ivory at all, but a lot of mint and coral. Papers are from Fancy Pants and Cosmo Cricket. Swirly flower stamp I used in the corners is Heidi Grace.

PDCC92 card

It’s been a looong time since I participated in any blog challenges. But now it’s time. 😀

The Play Date Cafe challenge PDCC92 was to make a card in coral, petal pink and antique gold. This is how my card turned out:
