Christmas in July part 2

Our challenge #174 at Cardz 4 Guyz is Christmas in July. It’s never too early to get started with those Christmas cards! C’mon and show us your Christmas creations. ūüėÄ

All papers on my card are from a Christmas paper pad by Stamperia, and the sentiment is a stamp from Kortmakaren.

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

And to CAS-ual Fridays challenge #178:

Peace Love Joy

I take a huge leap here, from the spring card earlier today, to a Christmas card. The lovely image with the cute birds is from Sl√∂jd-Detaljer. Peace Love Joy is from a clear stamps set that I got with a magazine a few years ago. The background is a snowflake printed overlay from Making Memories that I’ve adhered to green cardstock. I used the shetch at MFT Sketch¬†Challenge #327 for the layout of my card:

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

Still Christmas

One more Christmas card while I still have those Stamperia papers on my desk. This time¬†more clean and simple than yesterday’s card. Hopefully it’s CAS enough for CAS(E) This Sketch. I think so, as I’ve seen others using designer papers as background.

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

A shimmery Christmas

I’m supposed to be making Christmas cards all year round. Yeah, right. It’s about a month since the last one. But here’s one, finally. The entire image, with houses, Merry Christmas, and snowflakes on the left side, is from a designer paper. Unfortunately I don’t remember which brand.

I have matted the paper on brown cardstock, and then on glittery offwhite paper. I filled in Merry Christmas with Sakura Stardust gel pen. In the corners I’ve added snowflakes that I’ve punched out with Martha Stewart punches from offwhite and white glittery paper.

I submit this card to the following challenges:

Blue hugs

“Hugs” (that’s what the Swedish “Kram” means) in navy and off white is my card for sketch #396 at¬†Kortskissen. Come play with us, we’d love to see your take on the sketch! ūüėÄ

I also submit this card to the following challenges:

A lilac Christmas

Two of the challenges I made this card for, have the themes Girly and Cute. Those who know me, know that I don’t do girly. Or cute. Ever. So yes, it¬†was quite a challenge for me, and this is the girliest and cutest I managed to make. Both the girl image and the God Jul (Merry Christmas) stamp are from Sl√∂jd-Detaljer.

I submit my card to the following challenges:

May the Valentine greetings begin!

My second card for the year, and the first Valentine’s card. I guess I’ll be making a few of them. For this card I’ve used a heart from a clear stamp set by Verve Stamps. Happy Valentine’s Day are two seperate stamps, from a clear stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.

As always, I participate with my card in several challenges. I love to make it extra challenging by combining various challenges in one card.
First, I used CAS(E) this Sketch #202:

And here we go with the rest:

Blue Christmas

Yes, here I am with today’s second card. Making this card made me nostalgic. The tree paper and the stamp are both from Inkido, a company with loads of wonderful products, that no longer exists…

Again, I have made this card for several challenges. With several, I really mean a lot! ūüėČ

Plaid it is

Well, both plaid, stripes and damask. The plaid and stripes papers are from a past collection from Maja Design. Snowmen image from Slöjd-Detaljer, and stamp from Kaisercraft.

Fall/Autumn Birthday

New week, new sketch at Kortskissen. Here’s my card for it. All those squares in the sketch were perfect for me, as I’m an “think inside the box” cardmaker.

I used four different designer papers, Happy Birthday stamp from K-Designs, and a feather stamp that I designed for Reprint Artstamps ages ago. Through the years, I have designed stamps for three different companies. And of those stamps I almost only use the text stamps. I don’t really know why, but I don’t like using images that I have drawn. Maybe I should challenge myself to start using them, as there are plenty of them.

This might be my personal record in how many challenges I participate with this card, LOL. But it’s the time of the year when several blogs have fall/autumn themed challenges.
