Last Easter Card For This Year

Here’s my card for Kortskissen’s sketch #454, another Easter card. With Easter coming up this weekend, this is my last Easter card for this time. More to come next year. 🙂

Below the images are other challenges I pariticipate in with this card.

I submit my card to the following challenges:

Valentine’s Day

Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day today. And here’s a Valentine’s Day (“Alla Hjärtans Dag” is Swedish for “Valentine’s Day”) card I made for Kortskissen sketch #448. List of other challenges I participate in with this card is below the images.

More Love

Yes, it’s that time of the year. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Many of the card challenge blogs I follow, have love and/or Valentine as themes for their current challenges. At Cardz 4 Guyz challenge #188, our theme is “Something beginning with L”. I chose Love. So did some of the others in the design team, while other chose other L words. This is my last card for Cardz 4 Guyz. It’s been fun to be a part of their talented design team, but I want to free more time for other crafts so therefore leaving the team.

This card is an example that things aren’t always what they appear to be, lol. I wanted a black and white striped paper for background. I didn’t have any, so I added stripes of black washi to a white paper. The LOVE chipboard letters had other colors, so I colored them with black marker. The heart was gray chipboard, so colored it with golden marker. The I and U were green (the only letter stickers I had in the perfect size). I tried to color them with white marker, but unfortunately the green still shine through i tiny little bit. The heart inbetween I and U was red with white dots, I colored it with white marker.

As layout and inspiration for this card, I used MFT Sketch #371, and the photo at Time Out Challenge #102. List of other challenges I participate in are beneath the images.

Where There Is Love

Here’s my first card for Kortskissen sketch #448. I actually made two cards for this week’s sketch, I’ll post the other one in a couple of days. As so often, I also participate in several other challenges as well, list is below the images.

I submit my card to the following challenges:

Love

February being the month of love (Valentine’s Day), we have sketches with hearts all month at Kortskissen. Here’s the first one, sketch #447, and my card for it.

It was a very quick and easy card to make. The only thing I added was washi tape – one wide with the LOVE and one narrow black. The rest is the print on the paper.

Kortskissen #446

I’m mainly focusing on Valentine cards right now, as it’s that time of the year. For this card, I digged out some ancient papers, and a stamp from Forma Hantverk.

It’s my card for Kortskissen’s sketch #446. We’d love to see what you can do with this sketch, so please make and share. 😀

A Green Card

When I saw our sketch #433 at Kortskissen, I imagined a card with rays going out from the center. Luckily, I found one such paper in my stash. The paper is from K-Designs, and the Grattis (Swedish for “congrats”) is from a clear stamp set by Slöjd-Detaljer.

Christmas in July part 2

Our challenge #174 at Cardz 4 Guyz is Christmas in July. It’s never too early to get started with those Christmas cards! C’mon and show us your Christmas creations. 😀

All papers on my card are from a Christmas paper pad by Stamperia, and the sentiment is a stamp from Kortmakaren.

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

And to CAS-ual Fridays challenge #178:

Peace Love Joy

I take a huge leap here, from the spring card earlier today, to a Christmas card. The lovely image with the cute birds is from Slöjd-Detaljer. Peace Love Joy is from a clear stamps set that I got with a magazine a few years ago. The background is a snowflake printed overlay from Making Memories that I’ve adhered to green cardstock. I used the shetch at MFT Sketch Challenge #327 for the layout of my card:

Still Christmas

One more Christmas card while I still have those Stamperia papers on my desk. This time more clean and simple than yesterday’s card. Hopefully it’s CAS enough for CAS(E) This Sketch. I think so, as I’ve seen others using designer papers as background.
