You Rock!

My fourth and last blog post for today, with a card I made a couple of days ago. It’s a cool card that I’ll send to a special friend of mine. I have used papers from K-Designs, and various stickers (corners, borders, letters). It’s my card for this week’s Kortskissen, sketch #410. As always, we’d love to see your take on the sketch. I’m submitting this cards to a few other challenges as well, se links at the bottom of this post.

I submit my card to the following challenges:

It’s Christmas again!

As you might know, I had planned on making Christmas all year round so I don’t need to stress with them by the end of the year. I’m not doing too good with that – it’s already a couple of months since my last Christmas card.

Today’s card is navy and white, with a white silhouette tree, and a background of dotted cardstock. I’ve used Mojo Monday’s sketch #496 for the layout of the card.

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

One more mom?

LOL, no. I only have one mom (whom by the way is the world’s very best mom). I’ve made a few extra Mother’s Day cards though, in case someone else wants a card for their mom. ūüôā I kept this card very simple, as I think the colorful designer paper by K-Designs doesn’t ask for a lot of other details on the card. The sentiment stamp (Swedish for “The World’s Best Mom”) is from Inkido. As only embellishment I added three heart stickers, following the same color scheme as the paper.

This card is made for AAA Cards Game #89 – Bright and beatiful:

The layout of the card is inspired by Freshly Made Sketches sketch #287:

Butterflies for mom

Kortskissen sketch #408 is now online. As always, we’d love to see your take on it. Here’s mine. I’ve used a butterfly paper from DCWV Mariposa collection, and a stamp (which is Swedish for “The Worlds Best Mom” from Inkido. I started with nine squares, but wasn’t really happy with how it turned out. So I added gold glitter stripes (stickers from Panduro) inbetween the squares.

Rainbow Colors

Challenge #171 at CAS-ual Fridays was the theme Rainbows. I might have gone slightly over the top with that on my card, LOL. Well, at least you can’t accuse me for using boring¬†colors. ūüėČ

I’ve used papers from K-Design, and a dotted washi tape. The flower is a black outline sticker, in which I drew inlines with a white Posca pen. Happy Mother’s Day is a stamp from Simon Say’s Stamp.

I used MFT sketch #328 for the layout of my card:

A Purple CAS Card

When I saw Freshly Made Sketches sketch #283, I knew I wanted to make a really clean & simple card. At the bottom of the card, I have adhered a piece of striped overlay (acetate), and then added a thin border sticker along the edge of the overlay. The sentiment, a clear stamp from Technique Tuesday, is embossed¬†with white embossing powder. I added a few pearls in the corner of the card. That’s it.

Neon Flowers

For today’s card, I stamped flowers on neon colored cardstock, cut them out and adhered to the cardbase. Both flower stamps are ancient and for sure not available anywhere anymore. ūüėČ Happy Birthday is though, it’s part of my fave stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. I’ve added Glossy Accents in the middle of the large flowers, and sequins in the middle of the small flowers.

I made this card for Muse Challenge #211. I interpreted the colorful circles in the card, as flowers on my card. And kept the sentiment in the bottom right corner.

This year’s first Mother’s Day card

I had such difficulties taking photos of this card. No matter how I tried to edit the images, you can’t really see the shimmer of the pale pink cardbase. Also the turquoise frames around the designer papers ar shiny and there are glitter elements on the flowers.

I used Catch The Bug Stella Says Sketch Challenge #507 for the layout of the card.

Count Your Blessings

The “Count Your Blessings” square is part of an (five years) old paper from BoBunny. I let its colors decide the colors for the entire card – yellow, light blue and brown. The layout of the card is inpsired by Mojo Monday sketch #492:

Peace Love Joy

I take a huge leap here, from the spring card earlier today, to a Christmas card. The lovely image with the cute birds is from Sl√∂jd-Detaljer. Peace Love Joy is from a clear stamps set that I got with a magazine a few years ago. The background is a snowflake printed overlay from Making Memories that I’ve adhered to green cardstock. I used the shetch at MFT Sketch¬†Challenge #327 for the layout of my card:
