Kortskissen sketch 417

Getting home from my vacation trips, I’m now back to blogging again. First post for today, is my card for Kortskissen sketch #417. The sentiment I’ve used, is from a clear stamp set by Slöjd-Detaljer.

As always there’s no deadline on our sketches, so you have as much time as you want to make your take on the sketch.

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

New at Cardz 4 Guyz

I feel proud and honored to be a new design team member at the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge blog. My first card as a part of the team, is “Stars”, which is the challenge #172 theme. Come join us and show is your star cards! 😀

The background on my card is an old star background stamp from Slöjd-Detaljer. Guitar stamp is from Inkadinkado, and the larger stars is a stamp I don’t know the brand of. Everything stamped is embossed with black embossing powder. You Rock are various letter stickers.

Red Black and White

Monday means we have a new sketch at Kortskissen, and as always, we’d like to see your take on it. I went for a card in red, black and white, with a sentiment stamp from Slöjd-Detaljer.

I also submit my card to the following challenges:

Heart and Flowers

Today’s first card (I’m not sure if there will actually be any more today) has a cut out heart covered in stripes of washi tapes, and flowers cut out from a coloring paper (I didn’t have any suitable flower stamps). Grattis is a clear stamp from Slöjd-Detaljer.

I made this card for Time Out challenge #83 where we should CASE a card by Hannelie. I also participate in several other challenges with this card, see full list below the images.

Card with coloring page

As soon as I saw the card at the latest Muse challenge, I knew I wanted to use a mandala from one of my coloring books. The mandalas were too large though, so I ended up using another colored page for my card. I’ve outlined everything with white Posca pen to lighten up the image a bit. “Till Mamma”, Swedish for “For Mum” is a small “till” stamp from a set by Slöjd-Detaljer, and alphabet stickers (I don’t know which brand) for “Mamma”.

A Mother’s Day card

I’m sorry, I’m too tired tonight to write any details about this card, I’ll simply just show the pictures… I used Mojo Monday’s sketch #495:

Kortskissen 404

We have a new sketch at Kortskissen, and would love to see your take on it. For my card I used a few different papers from that “paper pad without name”, lol. The stamp is from VivaLasVegaStamps.

Peace Love Joy

I take a huge leap here, from the spring card earlier today, to a Christmas card. The lovely image with the cute birds is from Slöjd-Detaljer. Peace Love Joy is from a clear stamps set that I got with a magazine a few years ago. The background is a snowflake printed overlay from Making Memories that I’ve adhered to green cardstock. I used the shetch at MFT Sketch Challenge #327 for the layout of my card:

Flowers and swirls

I found our sketch #403 at Kortskissen quite challenging, and ended up interpreting it quite freely. Letting the flowery S shape be swirls and flowers. The paper I’ve used is a ten years old (!!!) paper from Fancy Pants. Sentiment is Swedish for “Spring is in the air” and is a stamp by Carolina Emdin.

From Easter to Christmas

Making a card for IN{K}SPIRE_me’s challenge #293 – mint, brown and white – I immediately knew I wanted to use papers from one of Stamperia’s Christmas paper sets. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I have to say once again that Stamperia is one of my fave paper designers. The circle with snowflakes is a stamp from Creative Epressions, which I embossed with chocolate brown embossinpowder, and then cut out the image around the edges of the stamped circle.

I used the sketch from The Crafter’s Cafe challenge #169 for the layout of my card.
