Here are my third and last tealight card and matchbox for this Christmas.I made them rather wintery than Christmassy, so the receipient (it’s a Christmas gift for a friend, together with a candle holder) can have them on her table with the candle holder not only for Christmas but for entire winter
Here’s another tealight card and matchbox. I kept these very simple and let the paper do the talking, no decorations. As mentioned in my previous post, tealight card template is from StampARTic.
A couple of weeks ago, I made this tealight card, plus decorated a matching matchbox. I found the instructions for the tealight card at StampARTic, and modified it a little bit.
Red cardstock – Bazzill Basics Paper
Designer paper – Slöjd-Detaljer Julkänsla
Washi tape – Stamperia
Organza ribbon – Slöjd-Detaljer
Plastic “window” on tealights – a plastic folder I had. Any quite sturdy plastic works.
…and when being late with making Valentine’s cards, keep them clean and simple!
Here’s what I made tonight. As clean and simple as it possibly can be.
I absolutely LOVE that “Dig” stamp, which can be combined with other words! Dig is the Swedish word for You.
The first card I made was for CAS-ual Fridays‘ latest challenge, which is to make a card with an embellishment extending past the edge:
Next card is inspired by CASE Study Challenge #177:
And finally, a small box:
I just realized that I never showed the purple gift I made for my purple loving friend for Christmas. About time to show it now when it’s Easter, I guess. 😉 I decorated a matchbox and a gift box. Inside the gift box is a pair of purple earrings I made, which I unfortunately don’t have a good photo of.
When a friend and I wanted to send some chocolate to a musician friend in the U.S., I made this blingy rockin’ gift box to put it in. It was received today, so now I can finally upload the pics. 😀
A few months ago (we’re still on the March 2010 posts!) I altered a heart shaped box. I painted it with pink acrylics, stamped with brown ink + with ink and gold embossing powder. Last but not least sprayed it all with gold glitter spray, and added brown lace.
