February wasn’t one of my most productive months. Or I have forgot to take photos of some things?! Nah, I just think I didn’t make much. The only images I could find are these:
It might not be a New Year’s resolution to update my blog more frequently, but I will at least try me best to do it. Better blog my new creations straight after they are made, or I end up forgetting to do it…
My creation for today is a small spiral bound little book, made of various scraps. It’ll be my One Word A Day journal for January. One Word A Day journal is simply a journal where you only write one word a day, as simple as that. 😀
When checking some unedited images on my pc, I found this pic. It’s a bunch of notebooks I made for work, back in July. They are very plain, all the front covers are made from one piece of 12″x12″ designer paper (BoBunny, I think?!). Glued onto cardstock and chipboard for more sturdiness.
Yesterday I made a notebook of the cover of one of my paperback books. I thought it would be SO suitable for a notebook for shopping lists. 😉
The last few days, I’ve been browsing the notebook section of Etsy a lot, and noticed that you don’t always have to create superfancy artsy stuff. You can simply take just about anything and turn it into a notebook! I like that idea, and since I have my Bind-It-All tool which I have hardly ever used, I wanted to try making some notebooks.
My first try was to turn an empty Snickers icecream box into a notebook, instead of throwing it away. I matted pieces of the box on red cardstock, cut 60 white pages (out of plain printer paper) and used a brown o-wire (brown as in chocolate of course! 😀 ).
My second try was the insert of a Jimi Hendrix CD. I had planned to sell that album on an auction site, but since I know I wouldn’t get much money for it anyway, I could as well turn it into a notebook. 😀 I glued the insert onto blue cardstock, used blue lined paper and a black o-wire.
