Heart and Flowers

Today’s first card (I’m not sure if there will actually be any more today) has a cut out heart covered in stripes of washi tapes, and flowers cut out from a coloring paper (I didn’t have any suitable flower stamps). Grattis is a clear stamp from Slöjd-Detaljer.

I made this card for Time Out challenge #83 where we should CASE a card by Hannelie. I also participate in several other challenges with this card, see full list below the images.

You Rock!

My fourth and last blog post for today, with a card I made a couple of days ago. It’s a cool card that I’ll send to a special friend of mine. I have used papers from K-Designs, and various stickers (corners, borders, letters). It’s my card for this week’s Kortskissen, sketch #410. As always, we’d love to see your take on the sketch. I’m submitting this cards to a few other challenges as well, se links at the bottom of this post.

Find Beauty In Every Day

After hardly creating anything for an entire week, I’m now on a cardmaking spree. Here’s card #2 for today, in pastel colors with a background created with the new Distress Ink Oxide pads. I like them, but need to get some in bolder colors. I’m usually not the pastel kind of person. The flowers is a clear stamp from an old set by Heidi Swapp (or was it Heidi Grace?), and the sentiment is from a clear stamp set by Technique Tuesday.

It’s the first time I participate in a Paper Craft Crew Challenge – challenge #244 being a sketch. I also submit my card to Fab ‘n’ Funky challenge #351 – Backgrounds, and Penny’s Paper-Crafty challenge #329 – Anything goes.

Dog Lover Birthday

I’ve had this dog paper (I have a cat one as well) for years without using it. As there are a couple of blog challenges with the theme animals right now (see links at the bottom of this post), it’s perfect to use for a dog lover birthday greeting.

I have used MFT Sketch #333 for the layout of my card, and Paper Play Sketches color challenge for the colors:

Butterfly tag

I’m awfully late with posting my creation for Through The Purple Haze challenge #125 – Anything goes. I’ve had my mom here visiting me for a week. During this week we were also away from home for a few days, visiting Malmö and Copenhagen. I didn’t want to spend much time by my computer while she was here, so all blogging and other online stuff or editing photos was put on hold.

Anyway, here I am now. My creation for the TTPH challenge is a tag. I joined a Facebook group for trading artist trading cards and tags. I have never really worked much with the tag format (#8, 3 1/8″ x6 1/4″  or European measure 8×16 cm). I liked it, and will make loads more tags for trading in that group and probably also to sell in my Etsy shop.

Flowers and a bird

It’s already a new week, and we have a new sketch at Kortskissen. As always, we’d like to see your take on the sketch.

I interpreted the sketch quite freely. The things in the corners became flower patterned paper, and the diagonal text is a tag on my card.

It’s Christmas again!

As you might know, I had planned on making Christmas all year round so I don’t need to stress with them by the end of the year. I’m not doing too good with that – it’s already a couple of months since my last Christmas card.

Today’s card is navy and white, with a white silhouette tree, and a background of dotted cardstock. I’ve used Mojo Monday’s sketch #496 for the layout of the card.

One more mom?

LOL, no. I only have one mom (whom by the way is the world’s very best mom). I’ve made a few extra Mother’s Day cards though, in case someone else wants a card for their mom. 🙂 I kept this card very simple, as I think the colorful designer paper by K-Designs doesn’t ask for a lot of other details on the card. The sentiment stamp (Swedish for “The World’s Best Mom”) is from Inkido. As only embellishment I added three heart stickers, following the same color scheme as the paper.

This card is made for AAA Cards Game #89 – Bright and beatiful:

The layout of the card is inspired by Freshly Made Sketches sketch #287:

Butterflies for mom

Kortskissen sketch #408 is now online. As always, we’d love to see your take on it. Here’s mine. I’ve used a butterfly paper from DCWV Mariposa collection, and a stamp (which is Swedish for “The Worlds Best Mom” from Inkido. I started with nine squares, but wasn’t really happy with how it turned out. So I added gold glitter stripes (stickers from Panduro) inbetween the squares.

Mom

I’m in the last minute. Always. So here’s my card for Freshly Made Sketches #286, just an hour before deadline. I’ve used the color scheme from CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #221. I kind of forgot to keep it clean, but since I haven’t used any decorations, I hope it’s CAS enough in spite of my mix of designer papers.
