Here’s another Christmas card for today. Both the cute birds image and the sentiment stamp (which says “Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s Holiday” in Swedish) are from Slöjd-Detaljer.
I’ve made the card for:
It was really fun to make this card, with its totally untraditional Christmas colors. I actually made it for a person whose favorite colors are purple, lime green, blue and turquoise. As always, I’m participating in a few challenges. Well, this time more than just a few.
Today’s first card is very clean and simple. “Kram” is Swedish for “Hugs”, and is a clear stamp from one of many wonderful sets by Slöjd-Detaljer. I made it for CASology challenge #224 – Embrace, Crafty Catz challenge #347 – Use red, Crafting By Designs November challenge Anything goes, and for our new sketch #384 at Kortskissen:
My card for sketch #383 at Kortskissen is a Thank you (“Tack” is Swedish for “Thanks”) card in fall colors. I’ve used designer papers from Panduro, Tack stamp that is my design for Skapa Hobby (no longer avaiable) and various bling.
Besides the sketch, I submit my card to the following challenges:
I’m such a bad design team member. Being busy and exhausted, I didn’t make last week’s card for Kortskissen sketch #382 until now! Shame on me. But better late than never. You can still join in and make a card from that sketch – we have no deadlines.
The bauble stamp, which is embossed with silver embossing powder, is from the clear stamp set Silver Bells from KaiserCraft. The snowlake patterned paper is actually pieces of a Christmas card (not handmade) I received last year, and mounted on super glittery silver paper.
I also submit this card to the following challenges:
