Let it snow

A Christmas card in red and gold. The lovely winter scenery is from a paper by Stamperia (I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I love their products!). I stamped a circle stamp with snowflakes, from Phil Martin Sentimentally Yours, on the round image, and embossed with gold embossing powder before I cut out the image. I punched snowflakes with two different Martha Stewart punches in golden paper. God Jul at the bottom of the card are peel-off stickers (outline stickers). I added Stickles Star Dust glitter glue along the snow on the image and in the middle of each snowflake.

I submit this card to The Paper Players challenge #319 РTic Tac Toe (I chose red, glitter and snowflakes) and to A Gem of A Challenge #181 РSnowflakes.

It is also my card for this week’s Kortskissen, sketch #381.

Get well

Look, it’s not a Christmas card! It’s a get well card. Made for CASology week 221, where the theme is “Cure”, and AAA Card CAS Game #76, “Masculine“. For the layout of the card, I used CAS(E) this Sketch #196.

As all three challenges are clean & simple, my card is very… clean & simple! ūüėČ The paper for the stripes and the heart are from K-Designs. The stamp is my design for Skapa Hobby (no longer available). I stamped with white ink pad, then filled it in with Posca pen to make it more white.

A cute little snowman

First card for today is a Christmas card in traditional Christmas colors, with a cute little snowman. The image is from Sl√∂jd-Detaljer, Merry Christmas stamp from Vilda Stamps, and designer papers are from Maja Design’s “I Wish” collection.

Christmas bird

I plan for a total cardmaking weekend, and here’s the first card. A Christmas card with papers (bird and background papers) from Stamperia. It’s an Italian craft supplier, making THE most¬†beasutiful papers, and other things as well. The God Jul stamp I used are from an old clear stamp set I designed for Skapa Hobby, no longer available.

As always, I’ve used a few challenges as inspiration:

Colours of autumn

My third and last card for today is made with various designer papers, a couple of pieces of washi tape and stamps from my fave clear stamps set from Verve Stamps.

I used the sketch from City Crafter challenge #334 as inspiration for my card. I was also inspired by the colors in the photo at Inspired by All the Little Things #39. I also submit this card to Stampin’ Royalty challenge #350 – Celebrations, The Crafty Addicts challenge #36 – Autumn Colours, and Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #175 – Shades of Autumn.

Kortskissen #380

My card for this week’s Kortskissen is a dark grungy Halloween card. Maybe I should stop making Halloween cards soon, as I don’t send any. My stash is getting pretty big.

I have used designer papers from K-Designs (I love their papers!). The owl image if from a sheet of vintage Halloween images from Slöjd-Detaljer, and the Happy Halloween stamp is from Deep Red.

Have A Wonderful Christmas

On a dark fall day like this, being too tired to do any chores, I have decided today will be a cardmaking day. Yes, all day long! ūüėÄ

Here’s the first card of the day. I’ve used white vellum with glittery wintery swirly print, banners cut out from Maja Design papers, a white glittery snowflake made with a Martha Stewart punch, and a “Have A Wonderful Christmas”¬†sentiment stamp that is my design for Skapa Hobby. It’s always tricky to adhere vellum without the glue or tape shining through. I rather use a thin tape all along the edges, to make it looking a bit like a border, than to add small dots of glue/tape.

I’m very thankful for Less is More’s challenge #299, to use vellum, as I hardly ever do that. I was also inspired by Jenni Murray‘s card at Muse challenge #188. I wanted to make mine in the same colors as hers, but I didn’t find any suitable turquoise or light blue papers.

Plaid it is

Well, both plaid, stripes and damask. The plaid and stripes papers are from a past collection from Maja Design. Snowmen image from Slöjd-Detaljer, and stamp from Kaisercraft.

Not your regular gingerbread men

This card did not turn out the way I wanted it to, but oh well. The circle with the gingerbread man, and the pieces of paper behind them, are from papers I purchased at Panduro one or two years ago. Stamp is from a clear stamp set from Kaisercraft. I embossed it, and the small black dots all around the sentiment shows how very seldom I emboss these days – I should’ve brushed them away before heating…
