This card was for the latest CASE Study Challenge, but I noticed just now that I missed the deadline. 🙁 Oh well, here we go anyway. It’s a birthday card for a friend of my mom, who loves angels.
Grattis (“Congratulations”) is a clear stamp I have designed. Scalloped edges is another stamp, don’t remember which brand.
The latest challenge at CAS-ual Fridays was to make a clean and simple card with an element that goes off the edge of the cardfront. I like the challenge, but I hate how my card turned out. It must seriously be one of the worst cards I’ve made in a long time. Oh well, now I post it here, AND tomorrow I’m mailing it to a friend for her birthday.
Well, the card might not be retro, but it’s made from a sketch at retrosketches.
Text says “It’s not the years in your life that counts, it’s the life in your years.” It’s a rubber stamp from my work, Slöjd-Detaljer.
I found Clean & Simple Stamping’s sketch #242 very inspiring.
Sentiment says “Just wanted to say hi”, and is a stamp from Reprint Artstamps. Circles is a stamp from a Tim Holtz set, then colored with red and white Posca pens.
The latest challenge at The Play Date Café really was a challenge! An exciting color combo.
Another challenge card, this time for CASE Study Challenge #143.
This card didn’t turn out at all as I had planned. Anyway… Text says “Just wanted to say…”, a rubber stamp from Kortmakaren. The feather symbolizes a feather pen in this card, a rubber stamp I designed for Reprint Artstamps several years ago.
One day too late with my card for ColourQ challenge #191, but here goes:
Besides the actual color challenge, I challenged myself by taking out three pieces of paper scraps, one of each color in the challenge (except grey, for which I used cardstock and washi tape), cut the scraps into three pieces each, and made three similar cards.
Sentiment says “Warning! A hug may jump out when you open…”, a stamp from K-designs.
I found a very inspiring sketch at clean & simple stamping. I never got around to post the card in time before the challenge deadline, but as they say – better late than never. 🙂
I used three different washi tapes (I’m a washi addict!!), a few of pearls and a rubberstamp by Carolina Emdin (text means “Happy Birthday”).
