This year’s first Christmas card!

I thought I’d join the new Swedish challenge blog, Ett julkort i veckan (One Christmas card a week). So here’s my first card, for the first week of the year. 😀

Drawing #8 – Emily and Eva

My 8th and last drawing for 2010 was a commission. A portrait of my friend and colleague Eva and her daughter Emily, which Eva’s husband gave her for Christmas. It’s an A3 (approximately 16.5″x11.7″), twice the size of the other drawings I have made. But then, there are two people in it. 😉

December 2010

In December, I finally did a bit of papercrafting again, after only drawing for a couple of months.

Drawing #7 – Audie

In November I made a drawing of Audie, drummer of Great White. I’m not very happy with the result, compared to my other drawings. I guess I felt kind of stressed about it. I travelled to Portugal to see Great White in November, and made this drawing in the very last minute before the trip.

Drawing #6 – a commission

I managed to make not only one, but two drawings in October. This is a commission portrait, a friend’s son.

Drawing #5 – Scott

In October, I made a portrait of Scott, bassplayer in my fave band Great White. I was a bit nervous about it, as he is an artist too. But he says he loves it. Personally, I think this is my best drawing this far. 😀

Drawing #4 – Tony

In August, I made my drawing #4 since my ‘comeback’. Where is drawing #3, you might ask? Well, it was a commission portrait that I will not post in public.

So, #4. Tony, a very goodlooking guy I know a bit via his band and via Facebook. 😀

June 2010

Oh yeah, time for a major update again. Six months of papercraft. It’s not that much though. It’s been a rough fall for me, and I haven’t created much at all. Anyway, here’s a couple of June cards.
