The latest Kortskissen challenge was just perfect for me. I had to make a last minute birthday card. I actually had an already halfmade (since a long time ago) card – the base and the nine squares – that matched perfectly with this week’s sketch! I only needed to add text and a few decorations, and voilà – done. 😀
My card for the Kortskissen #98 challenge. Trying to use up some old papers, so you might have seen other cards from me with the same paper.
I know, I know. It’s very late to upload this now, as the Kortskissen #94 challenge was published over a month ago. But better late than never. 😉 Here’s my card from the sketch:
I didn’t get that much done in May. These are the few things I made.
An ATC (actually I made two, but the other one turned out so messy):
And a notebook – a teeny tiny little one, only about 7 cm, made with my Bind-It-All:

I made this a couple of weeks ago, and uploaded it to my general blog. But since time has been limited for quite a while, I never got around to upload it here, too. But here it is now, my drawing #2 since getting back into drawing. The beautiful Adam Lambert.

My very first real piece of artwork for almost ten years. Yay! Since I haven’t been drawing for so long, I thought it might be a good idea to start by drawing some portraits from photos, just to practise on the likeness, shading and stuff.
First out is one of my fave singers, Jack Russell of Great White (who actually gave me the last push to get back into drawing, thanks to what he said in an interview, about that your talent is a gift you have been given to use – I guess I was ready to hear something like that now ).
I’m quite satisfied with the result, especially considering for how long I have not practised at all.
A few months ago (we’re still on the March 2010 posts!) I altered a heart shaped box. I painted it with pink acrylics, stamped with brown ink + with ink and gold embossing powder. Last but not least sprayed it all with gold glitter spray, and added brown lace.
And a scrapbooking layout which was a gift to my dear friend Angela:
